Governor stresses better sanitation system in Multan
MULTAN—Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana directed the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) to improve sanitation system of the city. He said officers should perform their duties with devotion and full commitment. The Governor was speaking at meeting of WASA and health officials here at Circuit House on Friday.
Rajwana stated that provision of best health facilities was the top priority of the government, adding that Kidney Centre and new building of Children complex should be made operational soon.
He asked the officials concerned to let him know if there were any funds issues so that he could get it resolved. Rajwana said that government had spent a huge amount on the health projects for the masses.
On the occasion, PML former MNA Tariq Rasheed, MPAs, Mehdi Abbas, Ihsan uddin Qureshi, DCO, Nadir Chatta, MD WASA, Waseem Bajwa, Principal NMI, Dr Kamran Salick, ED Kidney Centre Dr Rafique Anjum, EDO Health, Dr Iftikhar Qureshi, Head of Children Complex, Dr Mukhtar Hussain and others were also present.
Later, VCs of BZU, Dr Tahir amin, Women University, Dr Shahida Husnain, and MNSUA, Dr Asif Ali called on Punjab Governor at circuit house. He asked VCs to improve the security system of the varsities and if they required funds for this purpose, do let him know.
