22 suspects held with stolen car, arms & drugs
ISLAMABAD—The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has intensified its campaign againt outlaws in order to ensure peace and order during the Holy month of Ramazan. The capital police arrested 22 suspects including Afghan nationals and recovered, stolen car, arms and drugs from their possession.
A spokesman of police said that a team of ICT Police on a tip-off conducted operation against the outlaws in Pindorian area of the federal capital Islamabad. He said that during search operation 22 suspects including 13 Afghan nationals were arrested along with a stolen car, two pistols, dozens of bullets and 150 gram hashish.
The police after registering cases against the nabbed suspects at respective police stations have started investigation against them. —INP
