UC Browser an­nounces Ra­mazan cam­paign


ISLAMABAD—UC Browser, a prod­uct of Alibaba Mo­bile Busi­ness Group, has an­nounced that it will be kick­ing off a spe­cial cam­paign in the spirit of the month of Ra­mazan for Pak­istani users. Part of the cam­paign will be Ra­madan spe­cific con­tent, games and com­pe­ti­tions. UC Browser, which re­cently at­tained a 400 mil­lion user base. It val­ues its users’ re­li­gious as­pi­ra­tions and strives to of­fer highly lo­cal­ized con­tent to its users.

A new up­date will be made avail­able upon the be­gin­ning of Ra­mazan, which will be brim-filled with Ra­madan good­ies. UC Browser users will be able to ap­ply new Ra­madan themes to their browser home screen. Users will also find in their browser a new “Ra­madan” card sim­i­lar to the “Head­lines” and “Sports” cards in­side which Ra­madan con­tent will be pub­lished in­clud­ing daily Qu­ranic quotes along with their trans­la­tions, au­then­tic Hadeeth, and other pop­u­lar con­tent re­lated to aus­pi­cious month of Ra­madan. Users will also find all the ac­tiv­i­ties un­der the UC Browser so­cial me­dia cam­paign #UCRa­madan in this sec­tion.
