Load­shed­ding mul­ti­plies mis­eries in hot sum­mer

ZIA QURESHI NAWABSHAH—It was fire like hot weather on Satur­day when mer­cury again rises up to 43 de­grees Cel­sius but the mis­ery was mul­ti­plied by in­ter­mit­tent load shed­ding and out­ages of elec­tric sup­ply in most parts of area of dis­trict.

The poor fast­ing peo­ple are de­prived of cold wa­ter even as the ice fac­to­ries and ice ven­dors have in­creased the rate of re­tail ice. The heat wave has in­crease the num­ber of pa­tients of sun stroke and di­ar­rhea ap­proach­ing Peo­ple Med­i­cal Col­lege hos­pi­tal and pri­vate prac­ti­tion­ers for treat­ment. Ex­ec­u­tive En­gi­neer HESCO Gulzar Ahmed Dasti said that NAB has is­sued no­tices to de­fault­ing de­part­ments num­ber of times but all in vain.
