Rulers’ contempt for youth
HASHIM ABRO Repeatedly the proverbial deadwoods are reemployed on contractual job with enviable pay package and other perks and privileges after their formal retirement from the service. This attitude establishes the fact that our rulers hold our youth talent in contempt.
Highly qualified and gifted young segment of the society is wandering from pillar to post in search of suitable job but well-connected, many of them fit to be termed as a square peg into a round hole, get repeated extensions in their reemployment to further paralyze the organizations. Is this justice, respect for the merit and the rule of law in this country? —Islamabad
