Govt con­spir­ing to bribe politi­cians, se­clude PTI: Im­ran

LA­HORE—Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saf Chair­man Im­ran Khan on Satur­day said if the Terms of Ref­er­ences (TORs) cater­ing the in­ves­ti­ga­tion of the Panama Leaks is­sue are not de­cided then the party will take to the streets, adding that the gov­ern­ment will not be able to han­dle such a move­ment.

Ad­dress­ing me­dia here, Khan said that the gov­ern­ment was pro­long­ing the mat­ter in or­der to avoid ac­count­abil­ity. He stated that if the ToRs are not de­cided then the party will hit the streets with 10% of the coun­try’s pop­u­la­tion.

PTI Chair­man said that gov­ern­ment will make ef­forts to se­clude the party, fur­ther adding that the politi­cians shall also be bribed.

An­swer­ing a ques­tion, he said that the sitin was or­gan­ised as a re­sponse of the gov­ern­ment not prob­ing the re­sults of four con­stituen­cies of the general elec­tions 2013.

Khan stated that it was later proved that rig­ging took place in all four of the con­stituen­cies. He said that if the party gets the op­por­tu­nity then ac­count­abil­ity shall be held against all four of the re­tired Elec­tion Com­mis­sion­ers.

Im­ran Khan said that the Elec­tion Com­mis­sion of Pak­istan is the “Elec­tion Com­mis­sion of Pak­istan Mus­lim League-N”, adding that all four of the pre­vi­ous com­mis­sion­ers were guilty.
