Aseefa Bhutto vis­its ail­ing Edhi, breaks fast with him

KARACHI—Aseefa Bhutto, youngest daugh­ter of as­sas­si­nated prime min­is­ter Be­nazir Bhutto vis­ited the ail­ing Sat­tar Edhi Satur­day evening and shared If­tar with him An emi­nent so­cial work­ers, Edhi, has been fight­ing ail­ments since cou­ple of months. Known as an­gel of mercy, he has re­fused for­eign treat­ment, say- ing he pre­ferred his coun­try to seek so­lace.

He has done a tremen­dous job by serv­ing the suf­fer­ing hu­man­ity, and de­serves to be awarded the Noble Prize. In­dia’s mother Ter­essa was hon­oured with the cov­eted prize. The of­fer for his treat­ment abroad was made by real es­tate ty­coon Riaz Ma­lik. Aseefa, now en­gaged in hu­man­i­tar­ian ser­vices to the com­mu­nity, re­mained with him for some­time.
