Stan­dard ed­i­ble items be­ing sold at Ra­mazan Bazaars at cheaper rates

She­hbaz vis­its Ka­sur us­ing pub­lic trans­ports, in­spects Ra­mazan Bazaar, DHQs Hospi­tal

KA­SUR—Pun­jab Chief Min­is­ter Mian Muham­mad She­hbaz Sharif rode a pub­lic van and made a surprise visit to Ka­sur’s Ra­mazan Bazar with­out any pro­to­col.

She­hbaz in­spected Ramzan Bazar ar­ranged near the rail­way sta­tion and di­rected shop­keep­ers to pro­vide gram flour and pulses in pack­ages weigh­ing one kg to half kg. He adored the kids and dis­trib­uted 2kg pack­ets of sugar among the peo­ple as a gift.

He re­viewed the ar­range­ments of Ra­mazan Bazaar. He vis­ited stalls, fruit shops and checked the rates of the ed­i­ble things.

He also met with con­sumers and asked about their de­mands in Ramzaan Bazaar.

A woman in­formed the Chief Min­is­ter that the prices in Ra­mazan Bazaars are rea­son­able and lesser than open mar­ket. She ad­mired and con­grat­u­lated the CM on such great ar­range­ments.

Ad­dress­ing the peo­ple, the chief min­is­ter said that if they have any com­plaint, his doors are open for them.

He also made a surprise visit to District Quar­ters Hospi­tal Ka­sur and vis­ited dif­fer- ent wards to en­sure hy­giene con­di­tions. CM She­hbaz Sharif per­son­ally ex­am­ined all hospi­tal de­part­ments in­clud­ing wards.

He also en­quired from pa­tients about the avail­abil­ity of proper med­i­cal treat­ment.

CM She­hbaz ex­pressed strong re­sent­ment over the clo­sure of air con­di­tion­ers dur­ing his visit to gen­eral wards of the hospi­tal and chided rel­e­vant of­fi­cials over filthy wash­rooms.

He di­rected the Med­i­cal Su­per­in­ten­dent (MS) and Deputy Med­i­cal Su­per­in­ten­dent (DMS) of the hospi­tal to main­tain the san­i­ta­tion sys­tem of hospi­tal.

The chief min­is­ter also met with pa­tients and in­quired about their prob­lems and medicines which are be­ing given to pa­tients in hospi­tal by the Pun­jab gov­ern­ment.

On his de­par­ture, She­hbaz’s he­li­copter landed in the fields and flew straight to brick kilns. He said that gov­ern­ment had been grant­ing Rs 1000 to every school child go­ing to school. He would never tol­er­ate child labour, She­hbaz added.—Agen­cies
