Wastage of water

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - RIDA ZAHEER

It is a common fact that water is one of the most essential resources, which is the need of all living things. Unfortunately we human beings do not know the actual value of water. We waste this precious gift of God ruthlessly without thinking how important it is. Due to wastage of this natural resource, water pollution is on the rise, which is affecting our lives.

According to the research of a US geologist, people use 8-100 litres of water everyday and 75% of water goes down the drain. We waste 75-76 litres everyday. We have to avoid the wastage of water and suggest to all and sundry to value this natural gift. —Karachi
