Aseefa Bhutto vis­its Lyari, en­quires peo­ple about their prob­lems

KARACHI—Aseefa Bhutto Zar­dari, daugh­ter of for­mer prime min­is­ter Mo­htarma Be­nazir Bhutto, on Sun­day vis­ited Lyari and get cog­nizance of the is­sues fac­ing the peo­ple of area.

The younger sis­ter of Pak­istan Peo­ple’s Party (PPP) Chair­man Bi­lawal Bhutto also vis­ited birth­place of found­ing fa­ther of Pak­istan, Quaid-e-Azam Muham­mad Ali Jin­nah, lo­cated in Lyari’s Wazir Man­sion.

She was ac­com­pa­nied by lo­cal gov­ern­ment min­is­ter Jam Khan Shoro. Aseefa Bhutto ex­pressed con­cern over heaps of garbage and lit­ter piled on the streets of the lo­cal­ity, ask­ing the min­is­ter to en­sure clean­li­ness.

Later on, she took to Twit­ter and in­formed her fol­low­ers that she had a con­struc­tive dis­cus­sion on garbage and san­i­ta­tion with Chief Min­is­ter of Sindh and Jam Khan Shoro.

“They’re com­mit­ted to im­ple­ment­ing in­no­va­tive so­lu­tions for Lyari.” She said as a pri­vate citizen, it was great to visit Lyari and hear peo­ple’s con­cerns first hand.
