6 fa­cil­i­ta­tors of mil­i­tants sur­ren­der

QUETTA—At least six fa­cil­i­ta­tors of mil­i­tants have sur­ren­der to Fron­tier Corps Balochis­tan in a cer­e­mony held in Noshki, on Monday. A spokesman for FC said here that the fa­cil­i­ta­tors were in­volved in fa­cil­i­tat­ing mil­i­tant or­ga­ni­za­tion in com­mit­ting mil­i­tancy and anti-peace ac­tiv­i­ties.

“Th­ese six fa­cil­i­ta­tors, how­ever, sur­ren­dered them­selves to FC Balochis­tan,” he said, adding that a cer­e­mony was held in Noshki area where sur­ren­der of the fa­cil­i­ta­tors took place.

The FC spokesman fur­ther said that the cer­e­mony was at­tended by se­nior FC of­fi­cials, tribal el­ders, lo­cal no­ta­bles and the of­fi­cials of district man­age­ment. He said that the six fa­cil­i­ta­tor sur­ren­dered on Monday had fa­cil­i­tated mil­i­tants in dif­fer­ent parts of the province.

He said that un­der the com­mand of In­spec­tor Gen­eral, FC Balochis­tan, Maj-Gen­eral. Sher Af­gun, FC would con­tinue its im­por­tant role to re­store peace and make Balochis­tan, a peace­ful land.

A po­lice of­fi­cial was shot killed in fir­ing by un­known armed as­sailants in Quetta’s Sariab road area, here on Monday.
