Worrisome load-shedding

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

MUHAMMAD ASHAR NAEEM

The people of Karachi know it very well that Karachi has become the city of problems multiplying and getting more serious day by day. Load shedding is the major and the biggest problem of Karachi. People are badly suffering due to load shedding in Ramazan, and the time of iftar and sehr are also not spared. At least 10 hour load shedding is thrust upon people daily.

Ramazan is month of fasting and prayers and everyone prefers to focus on religious activity. But due to load shedding the people cannot concentrate devoutedly even on Travi prayers. I appeal to the authorities to solve this problem as soon as possible and at least provide some relief to the fasting Muslims during the Sehr and Iftar timings in Ramazan. —Karachi
