Mustafa Kamal demands devolution of authority
KARACHI—The Pak Sarzameen Party Mustafa Kamal has said that National Finance Commission and 18th amendment was not going to solve people problems, and therefore dire need now is the devolve the authority to lowest levels of administration to help the ordinary and the poor seek solution to their problems without much ado.
At a press conference in Pakistan House, the official headquarter of the PSP, he asked whether the NFC Awards or the 18th amendments have solved peoples’ problems, and himself answered that these have not.
In fact the situation, instead of improving, has worsened than before. The federal government’s involvement in provinces’ problems, was much more effective. He thought that a handful of people were looking after the millions of souls, which is hardly the solution of the multiplying problems for the people.
Talking of the budget, “It is a budget of more than Rs 800 billion. How can that money be distributed by a few chosen ministers? He called for accountability of the money that had been promised in the budget and said that funds released by the government in the budget were for the people of Pakistan.
