Mobile snatching in our city

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

KALEEM SIDDIQUI

Street crime has become one of the most biggest and serious problems in our city. There is no place or area that is fully secure and safe for the citizens. People are always scared with regards to safety of their personal belongings.

Everyday thousands of people become victim of this evil and day by day it is soaring up rather than plummeting. I am deeply saddened to see that no police official or peace management authorities seem serious on this grave issue. Sadly, it is becoming more common during the month of Ramazan. So I request all the law enforcing authorities and officials to resolve this problem and control this emerging threat as soon as they can. —Karachi
