Arsenic, a disease

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

HAYAT SHAD

Arsenic is a poisonous chemical that is especially used to kill insects and weeds. Furthermore, arsenic is one of the largest tribulations of our country, as it is causing deadly threat to human lives. Moreover, it is found in drinking water being supplied to the people. Even tube well water is not free from this hazardous chemical.

People are suffering numerous health problems due to the poisonous water, polluted by arsenic, thus ending up in various water-borne diseases. I request the government to resolve the problem, badly affecting the health of the people. —Kech, Balochistan
