LGH se­lects 85 doc­tors

LA­HORE—La­hore Gen­eral Hospi­tal ad­min­is­tra­tion has se­lected 85 doc­tors against va­can­cies of house of­fi­cers. Th­ese re­cruit­ments have been made un­der the PMDC Rules, House Foun­da­tion Year 2010.

A to­tal of 201 can­di­dates were in­ter­viewed by the panel com­pris­ing Prin­ci­pal Post Grad­u­ate Med­i­cal In­sti­tute (PGMI), LGH Dr Khalid Mah­mood, MS LGH Dr.Niaz Ah­mad and pro­fes­sors of var­i­ous de­part­ments at LGH on Tues­day for fi­nal se­lec­tion.

The se­lected doc­tors will as­sume their re­spon­si­bil­i­ties on July 1, 2016. Prin­ci­pal PGMI LGH Dr Khalid Mah­mood said that new house physi­cians and sur­geons had been se­lected purely on merit and qual­i­fi­ca­tion and they would be given stipend on monthly ba­sis ac­cord­ing to the gov­ern­ment rules.
