Surprise visit

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

Recently Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif surprisingly visited township Ramazan bazaar without protocol and reviewed prices and quality of fruits, vegetables, flour, sugar and other important things. The Chief Minister directed to arrange better quality things at Ramazan bazaars that would remain open till 9pm for people.

The main purpose of the visit was to be aware about the problems of poor people and realize that how poor people are passing the month of Ramazan. I really appreciate the work of CM Shahbaz Sharif aimed at ensuring the sale of quality things to the people during the holy month of Ramazan. While I appreciate the initiative of the CM Punjab, I would like to also request Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to ensure good quality foods for the people, enabling them to celebrate Ramazan with peace of mind. —Via email
