Im­ran as­sures Chi­nese en­voy of full sup­port, coop for suc­cess of CPEC

ISLAMABAD —Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saf (PTI) se­nior leader and for­mer Se­na­tor Dr. Shahzad Waseem hosted an if­tar din­ner in hon­our of Am­bas­sadors at his res­i­dence.

Chair­man Pak­istan Tehreek e In­saf Im­ran Khan at­tended if­tar din­ner as chief guest along with se­nior PTI lead­ers Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ja­hangir Khan Ta­reen, Asad Umar, Ab­dul Aleem Khan, Naeemul Haq. Good num­ber of lo­cal and for­eign dig­ni­taries were also present.

Speak­ing at the oc­ca­sion Chair­man PTI Im­ran Khan said that Pak­istan wants friendly and cor­dial re­la­tions with its neigh­bour­ing coun­tries and is work­ing for peace and sta­bil­ity in the re­gion.

He said the western route of CPEC is most im­por­tant one as it could serve the least de­velop ar­eas of Pak­istan. He en­sured Chi­nese Am­bas­sador of his full sup­port and co­op­er­a­tion for suc­cess of CPEC.

He re­it­er­ated that is­sue of cor­rup­tion is the root cause of eco­nomic mis­eries of com­mon peo­ple of Pak­istan. He warned that peo­ple will be on streets if par­lia­ment failed to act against rul­ing elite for their cor­rup­tion. At the end he con­grat­u­lated Dr Shahzad Waseem for or­ga­niz­ing the suc­cess­ful event.
