Qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion to be achieved at cap­i­tal schools:Dr Fazal

A two-day weekly books bazaar would be started on Fri­day at premises of Pak­istan Acad­emy of Let­ters (PAL). The bazaar would be opened from 9 am to 7 pm. Books on var­i­ous sub­jects would be avail­able at the bazaar on dis­counted rates. ISLAMABAD—Min­is­ter of state for Cap­i­tal Ad­min­is­tra­tion and Devel­op­ment Di­vi­sion (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaud­hary on Wed­nes­day said that the sole pur­pose of the up gra­da­tion of the cap­i­tal’s pub­lic ed­u­ca­tional in­sti­tu­tions was to achieve qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion.

Chair­ing a meet­ing here on Prime Min­is­ter Ed­u­ca­tion Re­form’s pro­gramme, he said that the tar­gets of the ed­u­ca­tion re­forms pro­gram were be­ing achieved in stages ac­cord­ing to dead­lines.

He said that the con­struc­tion work of sev­enty rooms in cap­i­tal’s schools would be com­pleted in the on­go­ing sum­mer va­ca­tions.

The meet­ing was at­tended by Sec­re­tary, ad­di­tional sec­re­tary CADD, Di­rec­tor Gen­eral Fed­eral Di­rec­torate of Ed­u­ca­tion, and Ad­vi­sor for Prime Min­is­ter Ed­u­ca­tion Re­forms Pro­gram Ali Raza and other of­fi­cials.
