SSP or­ders fool proof se­cu­rity dur­ing Ra­mazan

ISLAMABAD—Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent of Po­lice (Oper­a­tions) Sa­jid Kiani has di­rected all po­lice of­fi­cial to re­main highly vig­i­lant dur­ing se­cu­rity du­ties in Ra­madan and keep check on sus­pect.

Chair­ing a meet­ing held here at Res­cue 15, SSP Kiani said that elab­o­rate se­cu­rity ar­range­ments should be en­sured dur­ing Ra­mazan. He di­rected to en­sure crack­down against crim­i­nal el­e­ments and said that no lax­ity would be tol­er­ated in per­for­mance of se­cu­rity du­ties.

The SSP also re­viewed the se­cu­rity ar­range­ments in var­i­ous ar­eas of the city and was briefed by the rel­e­vant po­lice of­fi­cials about it. He or­dered for en­sur­ing fool proof se­cu­rity at Masajid, Imam­bar­gahs and launch ef­fec­tive crack­down against pro­claimed of­fend­ers and pro­fes­sional alm-seek­ers.

He also di­rected for search op­er­a­tion in var­i­ous ar­eas and main­tain high vig­i­lance against sus­pects. The meet­ing was at­tended among oth­ers by all Zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs of po­lice sta­tions.—APP
