Pak­istan mov­ing on path to peace, progress: She­hbaz

LA­HORE—Pak­istan is swiftly mov­ing on path to peace, progress and pros­per­ity un­der the dy­namic lead­er­ship of Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif. This was stated by Pun­jab Chief Min­is­ter Muham­mad She­hbaz Sharif dur­ing a meet­ing with Fed­eral Min­is­ter for In­ter-Provin­cial Co­or­di­na­tion Mian Riaz Hus­sain Peerzada in La­hore on Thurs­day.

The Fed­eral Min­is­ter fe­lic­i­tated the Chief Min­is­ter on pre­sent­ing a pub­licfriendly Pun­jab bud­get for next fis­cal year. He said that in­ter­na­tional com­mu­nity is also ap­pre­ci­at­ing the poli­cies of the present gov­ern­ment.

More­over, She­hbaz also met Bri­tish diplo­mat John Cas­son in La­hore and dis­cussed mat­ters of mu­tual in­ter­est. Talk­ing to se­nior Bri­tish diplo­mat John Cas­son, the Chief Min­is­ter said Pak­istan and Bri­tain are strong part­ners in the jour­ney of progress and devel­op­ment. He said the co­op­er­a­tion of UK Depart­ment for In­ter­na­tional Devel­op­ment is ap­pre­cia­ble for im­prove­ment of ed­u­ca­tion, health and skill devel­op­ment sec­tors in the prov­ince.
