Water level in Turbat

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - ATIYA MOOSA

Turbat city in Balochistan is predicted to face a troubling drought in the coming days. In the recent years, due to the lack of seasonal rains, the ground water level has reportedly depleted beyond 25 feet.

According to reports, the climate change is the cause behind the shortage of water in the area. The government of Balochistan, at emergency level, should make plans to resolve the water shortage problem. — Via email
