Ship­ping ac­tiv­ity at Port Qasim

KARACHI—Brisk ship­ping was recorded at the port where five ships C.V Maersk Step­nica, M.V Orion-3, M.V Hori­zon and M.T Meth­ane Heater Sally car­ry­ing Con­tain­ers, Soya Bean seeds, Palm oil and LNG were ar­ranged berthing at Qasim In­ter­na­tional Con­tainer Ter­mi­nal, Grain & Fer­til­izer Ter­mi­nal, Liq­uid Cargo Ter­mi­nal and En­gro Elengy Ter­mi­nal re­spec­tively on Wed­nes­day, 15th June-2016. In the mean­time three more ships C.V Pri­or­ity, M.T Yas and M.T As Ore­lia with Con­tain­ers, LPG and Chem­i­cals also got an­chored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim.

Berth oc­cu­pancy was man­aged at the Port at 73% on Wed­nes­day where a to­tal of ten ships namely C.V Maersk Step­nica, C.V Lloyd Don Car­los, C.V CMA CGM Tosca, C.V North­ern Mag­num, M.V An African, M.V Orion-3, M.V Hori­zon, M.T Meth­ane Heater Sally, M.T Gen­uine Gal­axy, and M.T Oky­roe are cur­rently oc­cu­py­ing ter­mi­nals to load/off­load Con­tain­ers, Ce­ment, Soya Bean Seeds, Chem­i­cal, LNG, Pam oil and Fu­rance oil re­spec­tively dur­ing last 24 hours.—APP
