Cal­li­graphic ex­hi­bi­tion at RAC

Rlong group cal­li­graphic ex­hi­bi­tion of young artists ar­ranged here at Rawalpindi Arts Coun­cil (RAC) in con­nec­tion with the sa­cred month of Ra­mazan would end on Satur­day (June 18).

The artists who put on dis­play their works were Neelo­far Raja, Us­man Mirza,Shah Nawaz, Lubna Kha­toon, Muham­mad Ali Im­ran, Muham­mad Shakil Taba­sum, Saif Ali, Hu­mayon Khan, Zarfis­han Fawad, Razia Shabir, Muham­mad Im­ran, Hu­mayon Kam­ran, Fazal Muham­mad, Za­far-ulHaq, Sa­jid Ali Sipra, Muham­mad Is­rar, Sayadul­lah, Asma You­nis, Im­ran, Salah-ud-Din Saf­dar, Mazhar Shahzad and Amna Latif. A num­ber of cal­lig­ra­phy fanciers, artists, stu­dents from dif­fer­ent art in­sti­tu­tions vis­ited the gallery where more than 50 art pieces were put on dis­play.

The artists coloured oil on can­vas cal­lig­ra­phy and water color caught the at­ten­tion of the view­ers at first glance.

Di­rec­tor RAC Waqar Ahmed thank­ing all the par­tic­i­pants said, the ex­hi­bi­tion has a lot to of­fer in terms of ex­per­i­men­tal work, new ideas and us­age of ‘khats’.—APP
