300 stu­dents start in­tern­ship with NTDCL

LAHORE—The Na­tional Trans­mis­sion and Despatch Com­pany Limited (NTDCL) has started an in­tern­ship pro­gramme for 300 stu­dents of 30 uni­ver­si­ties of the coun­try in line with the Cor­po­rate So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­ity (CSR). A two-day ori­en­ta­tion cer­e­mony was held here Fri­day at WAPDA House. Gen­eral Man­ager GSC Wa­ja­hat Saeed Rana was the chief guest on the oc­ca­sion He ex­tended a cheer­ful wel­come to the fu­ture en­gi­neers and said that young en­gi­neers are hope for build­ing a greater Pak­istan since coun­try is fac­ing num­ber of is­sues on na­tional front. Al­lah has given an op­por­tu­nity to the youth to re­build and to align it in best na­tions of the world, he added.

He said that NTDCL has best fleet of ex­pe­ri­enced en­gi­neers and in­terns can learn and flour­ish their tech­ni­cal skills, this train­ing pro­gramme will play a vi­tal role to en­rich the aca­demic ca­reer and pro­vide them off-hand op­por­tu­ni­ties, where knowl­edge from the­o­ret­i­cal work is applied in real terms. He fur­ther said that the stu­dents would get am­ple op­por­tu­ni­ties of learn­ing dur­ing the study of mega projects of na­tional im­por­tance, which are be­ing car­ried out by NTDCL.
