KP assembly meets just for six minutes
PESHAWAR —Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser on Saturday adjourned the budget session minutes after its resumption for debate on budget for fiscal year 2016-17.
According to reports, budget session resumed with Asad Qasier in the chair on Saturday. Soon after its resumption, the speaker adjourned the sitting without any proceeding without giving any reason.
The session continued only for six minutes to discuss the budget. Talking to media after session, Sardar Hussain Babak, parliamentary leader of ANP, announced to approach the Peshawar High Court in this regard.
He said that speaker adjourned the session without any reason despite complete quorum. He said that it seems difficult for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to pass the budget. The PTI own law-makers criticizing the budget and its government.
