Govt al­lo­cates Rs 21b for projects of HEC

ISLAMABAD—Gov­ern­ment has ear­marked twenty-one bil­lion ru­pees for var­i­ous projects of Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Com­mis­sion (HEC) for the fis­cal year 2016-17.

Ac­cord­ing to of­fi­cials, es­tab­lish­ment of Gwadar Univer­sity and cam­pus of Balochis­tan Univer­sity at Zhob were amongst the main projects, Ra­dio Pak­istan re­ported.

The Univer­sity of Baltistan will also be es­tab­lished for the peo­ple of far-flung ar­eas of Gil­git-Baltistan.—APP
