Com­mis­sioner re­views ar­range­ments for Yom-e-Ali (R.A)

KARACHI—Com­mis­sioner of Karachi, Ai­jaz Ahmed Khan on Satur­day presided over a meetingand re­viewed ar­range­ments for Yom-e-Ali (R.A) on 21st Ra­mazan.

The meet­ing de­cided to make fool­proof se­cu­rity around Imam Bar­gahs, Mosques, and for Ma­jalis and pro­ces­sions, said a state­ment.

The meet­ing also de­cided to make spe­cial ar­range­ments for clean­li­ness, in­stal­la­tion of street lights and un­in­ter­rupted sup­ply of power on the routes pro­ces­sions. It was also de­cided that un­in­ter­rupted wa­ter sup­ply will be en­sured at Mosques and Imam Bar­gahs.

The meet­ing was at­tended by AIGKarachi, Mush­taq Ma­har, Ad­di­tional Com­mis­sioner (Karachi-I), As­lam Khoso, Re­li­gious Schol­ars, Re­li­gious

Lead­ers, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Rangers, Po­lice and other con­cerned of­fi­cials. Dur­ing the meet­ing, au­thor­i­ties of lo­cal gov­ern­ment depart­ment, were di­rected to re­main in touch and co­or­di­nate with or­ga­niz­ers of Ma­jalis and pro­ces­sion.—APP
