Those in­volved in fraud with pil­grims mak­ing oth­ers ac­count­able: Saad

NANKANA SAHIB—Fed­eral Min­is­ter for Rail­ways Khawaja Muham­mad Saad Rafiq lashed out at op­po­si­tion and said that those who did cor­rup­tion in Hajj pil­grims’ money are now mak­ing oth­ers ac­count­able. He said gov­ern­ment is ready to evolve con­sen­sus with op­po­si­tion over ToRs is­sue, adding that the gov­ern­ment wants to re­solve the is­sue through di­a­logue process. He said that it will be de­cided by the court that how many peo­ple have es­tab­lished off­shore companies legally and how many es­tab­lished il­le­gally.

He said this de­ci­sion will not be made through protest and sit-ins. He said if no agree­ment is reached on ToRs than who has stopped op­po­si­tion from ap­proach­ing Supreme Court of Pak­istan over the is­sue. He said if the op­po­nents will not pull the legs of gov­ern­ment then the is­sue of elec­tric­ity load shed­ding will be re­solved till 2018. He said if Bi­lawal Bhutto wants to move for­ward his party than he should over­come bribery, rec­om­men­da­tion cul­ture and im­prove gov­er­nance the peo­ple will vote him. Saad Rafiq asked Im­ran Khan to re­move black glassed and should ser­vice the Khy­ber Pakhtoonkhawa and kill the rats who are bit­ing the peo­ple. He said over­come polio and ter­ror­ism and should change the fate of prov­ince.

He said the black dic­ta­tor­ship of Parvez Mushar­raf de­stroyed coun­try. He was ad­dress­ing the cer­e­mony of re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion work of Nankana Rail­way Sta­tion in Nankana Sahib on Sun­day. Saad Rafiq asked the saner el­e­ment of PPP to not cross the red line. He said that PPP should not reach at a po­si­tion from where it could not re­turn back and demo­cratic system of coun­try is desta­bi­lized. Saad Rafiq said Asif Zar­dari is a wise per­son he should con­trol the mat­ters. He said the three years per­for­mance of cur­rent gov­ern­ment is in front of peo­ple, adding that no op­po­si­tion par­tied in­clud­ing PTI did not ap­proach courts against a sin­gle project of the gov­ern­ment. He said PPP and PTI should com­pete with Mian Shah­baz Sharif in per­for­mance and should leave him be­hind.

He said PTI is un­able to es­tab­lish one fly­over in Peshawar and PPP is un­able to even start mass tran­sit pro­gram in Karachi. Saad Rafique said it seems that op­po­si­tion par­ties do not want in­ves­ti­ga­tion into Panama leaks as they are not fi­nal­iz­ing Terms of Ref­er­ences (TORs).

He ad­vised Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saf (PTI) to not cross red line while he also sug­gested Im­ran Khan to re­move his sun glasses and fo­cus on Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) de­vel­op­ment. He said the KPK gov­ern­ment place hur­dles when fed­eral gov­ern­ment takes ac­tion against gas theft in Karak.
