11 out­laws ar­rested

IS­LAM­ABAD—Is­lam­abad po­lice have ar­rested 11 out­laws from var­i­ous ar­eas of the city and re­cov­ered or­na­ments, nar­cotics and weapons from their pos­ses­sion, po­lice said.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, Bhara Kahu po­lice ar­rested Shahid Iqbal al­legedly in­volved in theft case and re­cov­ered gold or­na­ments and stolen items from him. Aab­para po­lice ar­rested Adil and re­cov­ered 200 gram hashish from him. Shal­i­mar po­lice ap­pre­hended two Afghan na­tion­als Gul Mir and Qa­dem Shah re­sid­ing il­le­gally in coun­try.

In­dus­trial- Area po­lice ar­rested Naseerud-Din in­volved in da­coity and re­cov­ered pis­tol along with am­mu­ni­tion from him. Shahzad Town po­lice ar­rested Shafqat and re­cov­ered 210 gram heroin from him. Khanna po­lice ar­rested Sala­mat Masih and re­cov­ered 25 liter wine while another ac­cused Zubair wanted to po­lice was also held. Cases have been reg­is­tered against these nabbed per­sons and fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion is un­der­way. Fur­ther-more po­lice also ar­rested four pro­fes­sional alm­seek­ers. SSP Is­lam­abad Sa­jid Kiani has ap­pre­ci­ated this over­all per­for­mance and di­rected all po­lice of­fi­cials to in­ten­sify ef­forts in ap­pre­hend­ing crim­i­nals.—Agen­cies
