11 outlaws arrested
ISLAMABAD—Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered ornaments, narcotics and weapons from their possession, police said.
According to details, Bhara Kahu police arrested Shahid Iqbal allegedly involved in theft case and recovered gold ornaments and stolen items from him. Aabpara police arrested Adil and recovered 200 gram hashish from him. Shalimar police apprehended two Afghan nationals Gul Mir and Qadem Shah residing illegally in country.
Industrial- Area police arrested Naseerud-Din involved in dacoity and recovered pistol along with ammunition from him. Shahzad Town police arrested Shafqat and recovered 210 gram heroin from him. Khanna police arrested Salamat Masih and recovered 25 liter wine while another accused Zubair wanted to police was also held. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. Further-more police also arrested four professional almseekers. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to intensify efforts in apprehending criminals.—Agencies
