Huge funds allocated for Western route of CPEC: Ahsan
Currency Selling Buying ISLAMABAD—Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said the government has allocated been allocated for BurhanHakla route. He said the 285kilometer motorway project to connect Dera Ismail Khan to Hakla area will be completed in two years at a cost of over 129 billion rupees.
He said five billion have been allocated for GwadarTurbat-Hoshab section and four billion for HoshabNag-Basima-Surba section of Western route of CPEC.
He said work on the Western route is in full swing and Gwadar-Surab Section will be completed by December 2016 while D.I. Khan section will be completed by July 2018. The Minister said the government is determined to completing the Western on priority basis by providing all the required funds for it.—Agencies
