Clean­li­ness work in DMC South un­der­way

KARACHI—The clean­li­ness work in Dis­trict Mu­nic­i­pal Cor­po­ra­tion (DMC), Karachi South con­tin­ued on Sun­day de­spite be­ing a hol­i­day.

This was stated by the Ad­min­is­tra­tor of DMC Karachi South Muham­mad Naeem Sindhu. A state­ment said that the Ad­min­is­tra­tor along with elected rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Lyari vis­ited var­i­ous ar­eas and in­spected the on­go­ing clean­li­ness work in Lyari’s Musa Lane, Nayabad, Ni­azi Chowk, Bagh­dadi, Shah Latif Bhi­tai Road, Aath Chowk, Shah Baig Lane.

He said that sew­er­age lines are be­ing cleaned, street lines re­paired, patch work car­ried out on the roads, trees pruned and worn out ban­ners be­ing re­moved.

The Ad­min­is­tra­tor ap­pealed to the shop­keep­ers and traders to as­sist in the beau­ti­fi­ca­tion work in the area.—APP
