Poverty erad­i­ca­tion

SAR­GODHA— Fed­eral Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tary Mohsin Shah­nawaz Ran­jha has said that Pak­istan Mus­lim League-Nawaz (PML-N) govern­ment was tak­ing se­ri­ous steps to erad­i­cate poverty and pro­vid­ing re­lief to the peo­ple. Ad­dress­ing a cer­e­mony af­ter dis­tribut­ing cheques among 37 needy and de­serv­ing peo­ple (Rs. 10,000 each) here at Ghous Muham­mad Wala on Mon­day. He said that Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab Muham­mad Shah­baz Sharif were com­mit­ted to serve the peo­ple on pri­or­ity ba­sis. He fur­ther said that PML-N did pos­i­tive and con­struc­tive pol­i­tics adding that it would make the govern­ment af­ter elec­tions 2018 on the ba­sis of de­vel­op­ment works and progress.—APP
