Concerns over load-shedding

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - HASSAN SIDDIQUI

I would like to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities towards alarming increase in load shedding and energy crisis and its adverse impacts the public and economy of the country. The factories and industries have started closing down due to unavailability of electricity and people have started to move to other countries. Moreover, thousands of people have been rendered jobless due to frequent break down of electricity.

This problem of load shedding also results in strikes and protests and creates irritation aming masses. This can be resolved by making effective utilization of resources. Moreover, efficient policies should be devised in order to overcome energy crisis — Karachi
