Power shortage in Ramazan

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - SANA ISHAQUE

Ramazan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. As usual, the people around the world focus on fasting and praying. However, the load shedding continues to be a major problem during the holy month of fasting. In Ramazan, when the people want to pray to Allah, they are unable to do so because of the torture inflicted by the continuous load-shedding.

Furthermore, the load shedding is also getting from bad to worse with every passing day. The people of Turbat have to face power outages of more than 17 hours at present. I request the government to take serious action to eradicate load shedding, at least during the month of Ramazan. — Karachi
