Outlaws arrested, narcotics, weapons recovered
ISLAMABAD—Islamabad police have arrested 14 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered mobile phone, narcotics and weapons from their possession, police said.
According to details, Secretariat police arrested Zulfiqar Shah and Najma Bibi and recovered 1.255 kilogram hashish from their possession. Noon Police arrested Dilber Khan and recovered 1.30 kilogram hashish from him. Shahzad Town police apprehended five persons for assisting proclaimed offenders to remain at large who have been identified as Yasir Latif, Hamid Ali, Farmin Shah, Amir Sajjad and Muzammil.
Khanna police arrested Bilal and Waseem for having one 30 bore pistol and two 12 bore guns respectively. Nilor police arrested Raja Shamraiz and recovered two 12 bore guns from him while Loi Bher police arrested Farasat Ali and recovered snatched mobile phone and one 30 bore pistol from him. Cases have been registered against these persons for further investigation.
Meanwile, Rawalpindi Police have arrested six lawbreakers and seized 680 grams charras, two pistols 30 bore with eight rounds, one kalashnikov, 95 kites and a stolen motorcycle from the accused.—APP
