Out­laws ar­rested, nar­cotics, weapons re­cov­ered

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad po­lice have ar­rested 14 out­laws from var­i­ous ar­eas of the city and re­cov­ered mo­bile phone, nar­cotics and weapons from their pos­ses­sion, po­lice said.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, Sec­re­tar­iat po­lice ar­rested Zul­fiqar Shah and Na­jma Bibi and re­cov­ered 1.255 kilo­gram hashish from their pos­ses­sion. Noon Po­lice ar­rested Dil­ber Khan and re­cov­ered 1.30 kilo­gram hashish from him. Shahzad Town po­lice ap­pre­hended five per­sons for as­sist­ing pro­claimed of­fend­ers to re­main at large who have been iden­ti­fied as Yasir Latif, Hamid Ali, Farmin Shah, Amir Sa­j­jad and Muza­m­mil.

Khanna po­lice ar­rested Bi­lal and Waseem for hav­ing one 30 bore pis­tol and two 12 bore guns re­spec­tively. Nilor po­lice ar­rested Raja Sham­raiz and re­cov­ered two 12 bore guns from him while Loi Bher po­lice ar­rested Farasat Ali and re­cov­ered snatched mo­bile phone and one 30 bore pis­tol from him. Cases have been reg­is­tered against these per­sons for fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

Mean­wile, Rawalpindi Po­lice have ar­rested six law­break­ers and seized 680 grams char­ras, two pis­tols 30 bore with eight rounds, one kalash­nikov, 95 kites and a stolen mo­tor­cy­cle from the ac­cused.—APP
