QAU’s Golden Ju­bilee cel­e­bra­tions

ISLAMABAD—Cel­e­bra­tions of Golden Ju­bilee of Quaidi-Azam Univer­sity’s Foun­da­tion Day would be­gin from Tues­day (June 21) on the es­tab­lish­ment of this pres­ti­gious public sec­tor univer­sity.

An in­au­gu­ral cer­e­mony of cel­e­bra­tions of var­i­ous events fi­nalised by the Univer­sity ad­min­is­tra­tion in this re­gard would be held at Earth Sciences Au­di­to­rium of the Univer­sity on Tues­day.

Quaid-i-Azam Univer­sity once named Islamabad Univer­sity was es­tab­lished in July 1967 un­der the Act of Na­tional As­sem­bly and started teach­ing and re­search pro­grammes for PhD and MPhil de­grees.

It was, how­ever later de­cided to of­fer Mas­ters, grad­u­ate and un­der­grad­u­ate pro­grammes.—APP
