Benazir’s 63rd birth anniversary observed
LARKANA —Pakistan Peoples Party celebrated the 63rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chairperson PPP Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here Tuesday. On the occasion, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari visited mausoleum of their mother at Garhi Khuad Bux Bhutto and laid floral wreaths on mazar.
Besides, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with his cabinet members, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durani, Education Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal, nominated Mayor for Larkana Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, Parveen Bashir Kaimkhani and a large number of PPP workers and local party leaders reached Naudero to pay tributes to the brave leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
A Quran Khuwani and Dua was held at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and Bhutto House Naudero, where participants offered fateha for the peace of departed soul, on the occasion they paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her 63rd birth anniversary. Main program of birth anniversary was held at Naudero House, 63 pound cake was cut by PPP Leaders and Workers, followed by Iftar dinner.
They reaffirmed their commitment to follow the philosophy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and act upon her guide lines and political principles the toiling masses across Pakistan. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari could not attend the birth anniversary of his mother at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and Naudero house, however due to hot season and increasing mercury level public participation remained thin. Participants vowed to continue to carry the message of the martyred leadership to the barefoot and downtrodden masses.
