Six chil­dren of Gover­nor House em­ploy­ees ac­quire SAP cer­ti­fi­ca­tion

KARACHI—Sindh Gover­nor Dr.Ishrat ul Ebad Khan has said that SAP Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion is of ut­most im­por­tance spe­cially for our youth as it opens count­less av­enues for them in their pro­fes­sional life.

This he stated while ad­dress­ing a SAP cer­tifi­cate dis­tri­bu­tion cer­e­mony for the chil­dren of em­ploy­ees of Gover­nor House, who com­pleted the train­ing or­ga­nized by CIBA Con­sul­tancy.

Se­nior Min­is­ter for Ed­u­ca­tion Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Se­na­tor Ni­hal Hashmi, Sec­re­tary of Ed­u­ca­tion Fazal ul­lah Pechuhoo, Com­mis­sioner Karachi Ai­jaz Ahmed Khan, renowned In­dus­tri­al­ists Sar­dar Yasin Ma­lik and Me­htab Chawla were also present on the oc­ca­sion.

Gover­nor Sindh said that when em­ploy­ees of Gover­nor House ap­proached him for em­ploy­ment of their chil­dren they al­ways re­quested for a job ac­cord­ing to their own grade, the rea­son of which was that they were un­able to af­ford ex­penses of qual­ity higher and pro­fes­sional ed­u­ca­tion for them.

Keep­ing in view their lim­ited re­sources a SAP Cer­tifi­cate course was launched in col­lab­o­ra­tion with CIBA con­sul­tancy for their chil­dren which was ab­so­lutely free of cost, he added and said that the aim of this ini­tia­tive was to en­able them to ac­quire this high­est pro­fes­sional cer­ti­fi­ca­tion to make their fu­ture bright.

He said that apart from 25 chil­dren of em­ploy­ees of Gover­nor House as many as 256 stu­dents of Be­nazir Bhutto Sha­heed Uni­ver­sity Lyari (BBSUL) have also been en­rolled in a sim­i­lar course which is also free of cost and would en­able them to ac­quire jobs in re­puted firms, af­ter com­ple­tion.

He said that a batch of chil­dren of em­ploy­ees of Gover­nor House was also trained in me­dia learn­ing and many of the par­tic­i­pants of the course have suc­ceeded in get­ting jobs, in var­i­ous me­dia houses. He also thanked K-Elec­tric for of­fer­ing jobs for all 6 suc­cess­ful SAP trainees and said that a batch of 25 more em­ploy­ees chil­dren would be trained for SAP, while Sar­dar Yasin Ma­lik had also an­nounced to bear the ex­penses of an­other batch of 25 stu­dents.

Sindh Gover­nor said that higher ed­u­ca­tion was the right of ev­ery cit­i­zen and keep­ing in view the same not only ex­ist­ing uni­ver­si­ties were be­ing equipped with all fa­cil­i­ties but new higher ed­u­ca­tion in­sti­tutes were also be­ing es­tab­lished so as to pro­vide an op­por­tu­nity to the youth to be able to en­hance their knowl­edge in their field of in­ter­est..—APP
