300 sign boards re­moved from DMC- East

KARACHI—In com­pli­ance to the or­ders of Supreme Court of Pak­istan, the DMCEast has re­moved more than 300 sign boards, from dif­fer­ent ar­eas.

Ac­cord­ing to a state­ment on Tues­day, Direc­tor, Ad­ver­tise­ment, Saeed Ab­dul Ghani and Direc­tor, AntiEn­croach­ment, Zahid Bin Khalil, fol­low­ing the di­rec­tives of Mu­nic­i­pal Com­mis­sioner, Waseem Mustafa, con­ducted a grand op­er­a­tion against il­le­gal sign boards.

The op­er­a­tion was ini­ti­ated af­ter the is­suance of no­ti­fi­ca­tion in dif­fer­ent news­pa­pers against il­le­gal sign boards and other ad­ver­tise­ment boards. The op­er­a­tion was con­ducted at Shahra-i-Quaideen, Karsaaz Road, Sabzi Mandi, Jail Road.—APP
