CM’s Advisor visits markets to check prices of edibles
KARACHI—Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh for Human Rights Ms. Nadia Gabol Tuesday paid a surprise visit to the city’s different food markets, bazaars and checked quality, price and supply of edible items as per government’s approved rates for the Holy month of Ramzan.
Ms Nadia Gabol, accompanied with Assistant Commissioner Lyari UbaidUllah visited different markets of Karachi District South such as Lee market, Kumharwara, Bakra Peeri & others and personally spoke to the shopkeepers and consumers about price and quality of daily use items on government defined rates during Ramazan. On the occasion several shopkeepers and fruit vendors were warned not to overcharge on edibles items during Ramzan otherwise strict action would be taken by the government.
She explained that Sindh government kept strict and vigilant eyes on price of essential commodities especially for the month of Ramzan in order to provide relief to the people.—APP
