Is­lamic so­cial system es­sen­tial for cor­rup­tion free Pak­istan

KARACHI—Ja­maat-e-Is­lami (JI) Karachi Chief Engr. Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that es­tab­lish­ment of a so­cial system based on Is­lamic teach­ings is es­sen­tial for a cor­rup­tion free so­ci­ety. He ex­pressed th­ese views while ad­dress­ing an If­tar din­ner at Ko­rangi Town area, said a state­ment on Tues­day.

He urged masses to take ap­pro­pri­ate steps so as to keep them­selves and their fam­i­lies away from the neg­a­tive im­pacts of me­dia.

The JI leader fur­ther said that the JI will never put poor cit­i­zens on the mercy of neg­a­tive el­e­ments and will fight the case of the peo­ple on each and ev­ery level.

On the oc­ca­sion, renowned lo­cal po­lit­i­cal and so­cial per­son­al­ity Sham­rez Awan an­nounced to join the JI. —APP
