New in­dus­trial pol­icy

PESHAWAR— Spe­cial As­sis­tant to Chief Min­is­ter Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa on In­dus­tries, Ab­dul Karim Khan on Wed­nes­day in­vited in­vestors to take ben­e­fit from new in­dus­trial pol­icy of the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment un­der which con­sid­er­able priv­i­leges are be­ing given to in­vestors. Talk­ing to a del­e­ga­tion of in­dus­trial sec­tion here at his of­fice, he said the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment would give 25 per cent sub­sidy to in­vestors on cost of land to be pur­chased for set­ting up of industry be­sides bear­ing 25 per cent of the elec­tric­ity bill for ini­tially three years. Ab­dul Karim said apart from these, the youth would be equipped with mod­ern tech­ni­cal train­ing to get jobs in in­dus­trial sec­tor. He fur­ther said that a new in­dus­trial zone in Peshawar would be es­tab­lished.
