3-G In­ter­net service sus­pended in Khy­ber Agency

KHY­BER AGENCY—3-G in­ter­net service has been sus­pended in most parts of FATA in­clud­ing Khy­ber Agency cre­at­ing hur­dles for lo­cal traders and peo­ple to carry out busi­ness tasks and to com­mu­ni­cate with their rel­a­tives abroad.

A pro­fes­sional web­site de­vel­oper and free­lance Ishaq Khan Shinwari while giv­ing the de­tails of what he was fac­ing due to the sus­pen­sion of 3-G in­ter­net said due to the sus­pen­sion of 3G In­ter­net fa­cil­ity in Landikotal; he shifted to Peshawar.

A so­cial ac­tivist and Khy­ber Youth Fo­rum pres­i­dent Amir Khan Afridi said that free­dom of ex­pres­sion and ac­cess to in­for­ma­tion were right of peo­ple. He said so so­cial me­dia in FATA was the only source of in­for­ma­tion and it should not be de­nied.
