Quetta to host National Games in Nov

Pakistan Observer - - SPORTS -

The situation was something like the first ODI of India’s tour to Zimbabwe last year; then it was Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling to Chigumbura with six to get off the last ball. Needing a six, he could only get a single, unable to get any elevation on a yorker despite batting on 103 at the time. Sran couldn’t quite nail his yorker, but his full-toss was low enough to deny Chigumbura and Zimbabwe.— AFP LAHORE—The 33rd edition of the national games will be organised from November 5-12 at Quetta.

“The mega event will be participated by all the affiliated units of the Pakistan Olympic Association belonging to all parts of the country,” said a spokesman of POA while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

He said a high-level delegation of the POA comprising its President Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Arif Hasan, Vice President, Ch. Muhammad Yaqub, Secretary Muhammad Khalid Mahmood held a meeting with the officials of Government of Balochistan and Balochistan Olympic Association on Tuesday at Quetta to decide the dates and other allied aspects of the premier activity.—APP
