PNF op­ti­mistic to host Asia Net­ball C’ship 2018

KARACHI—Pak­istan Net-ball Fed­er­a­tion (PNF) is con­fi­dent to win the bid of host­ing Asia Net-ball Cham­pi­onship (ANC) 2018. A many as eight coun­tries had ap­plied for the bid of host­ing ANC 2018 while three coun­tries had qual­i­fied for the said bid, Pres­i­dent PNF Mu­das­sar Arian told APP on Wed­nes­day.

He said that the de­ci­sion in this re­gard was taken in the meet­ing of Asia Net-ball Fed­er­a­tion held at Hong Kong.

The three coun­tries in­clud­ing Pak­istan, Ja­pan and Sri Lanka that had qual­i­fied for the bid to host the ANC and now these coun­tries’ con­cerned fed­er­a­tions have to ful­fil other re­quire­ments in­clud­ing the pre­sen­ta­tion for win­ning the bid for host­ing the sports gala, he added.

The pre­sen­ta­tion would be sub­mit­ted to the gen­eral coun­cil meet­ing of Asian Net-ball Fed­er­a­tion (ANF) slated for Au­gust 04 at Bang Kong in Thai­land.—APP
