Hot, dry weather ex­pected in most ar­eas

IS­LAM­ABAD—Mainly hot and dry weather is ex­pected in most parts of the coun­try how­ever, rain-thun­der­show­ers are ex­pected at one or two places in Zhob, Kalat di­vi­sions and FATA dur­ing next 24 hours.

Low pres­sure lies over North Balochis­tan and its ad­join­ing ar­eas. Weak moist cur­rents from Ara­bian sea are pen­e­trat­ing north­east­ern parts of Balochis­tan and its ad­join­ing ar­eas.

A west­erly wave is af­fect­ing western parts of the KP and its ad­join­ing ar­eas, an of­fi­cial of Met of­fice told APP.

In last 24 hours rain-thun­der­shower with strong gusty winds oc­curred at scat­tered places in up­per Pun­jab, Malakand, Hazara di­vi­sions, FATA, Barkhan, Kash­mir and Gil­git-Baltistan.—APP
