Administrator directs concerned to be alert to cope heavy rain
RAWALPINDI—Administrator Rawal Town Nazia Parveen Sudhan has directed all concerned to be fully alert during the expected heavy rain in the coming days for any emerging situation.
Chairing a meeting to review anti-dengue arrangements here on Thursday, she said anti-dengue activities should be expedited keeping in view weather and prevailing environment.
She directed the concerned that surveillance activities or tracing larva and its eradication be further expedited besides focusing on hotspots where from dengue cases are being reported.
She directed that checking and surveillance of commercial plazas, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and colleges, junkyards, graveyards, under construction sites, parks, open plots, abandoned sites, petrol pumps and all other spots be ensured.—APP
