Taimoor, Sadaqat steers SNGPL to big win in NN Ra­mazan Cup

KARACHI—The duo of Taimoor Sul­tan and Sadaqat Ali pro­duced su­per show with the bat and ball to steer Sui North­ern Gas Pipe­lines Ltd (SNGPL) to mas­sive 66 runs vic­tory over Medicam Cricket Club in 4th Naya Naz­imabad Ra­mazan Cup Flood­light Cricket Tour­na­ment at Lawai Sta­dium on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Taimoor smashed a pow­er­ful 92 with nine tow­er­ing sixes and three bound­aries with Asif Ali bang­ing an un­beaten 25 runs in 11-ball came with two sixes and two fours as SNGPL posted a chal­leng­ing to­tal of 178 for eight wick­ets in 20 overs.

Medicam CC in re­ply was dis­missed for 118 in the mid­dle of 19th over. Pak­istan test batsman and Cap­tain Khalid Latif hit a de­fi­ant 64 in 40 balls laced with four sixes and as many bound­aries in record-break­ing re­ward money of Rs. two Mil­lion.—APP
