Swat expressway construction soon
SWAT—Advisor to Chief Minister for Livestock Muhebullah Khan Saturday said that construction work on Swat Express Way with the cost of Rs.28 billion will commence soon.
This he said while talking to a delegation from Swat, he said that the 81 kilometer long Express Way would be completed with the cost of Rs.28 billion and 30 crore and will be completed under two phases in three years.
He said that the project will be proved as mile-stone of this province. He said that the project will save time of two hours from Karnal Sher inter-change to Chakdara because the Express Way by-passing Rashkai, Mardan Takhtbhai, Jalala, Sherghar Sakhakoat, Dargai and ButKhella but will cross from Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan and Malakand districts.
He disclosed that in a project Asain Develop-ment Bank, Korea, Japan and other foreign financial institutions showing their interest under public private partnership. He said that the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved Rs.2 billion and 30 crore for the project.—APP
